ENFIT Guideline - Transport of unpackaged raw materials and foodstuffs in transport containers.

On 200 pages you will find information about the applicable European and international laws and regulations. The ENFIT Guideline also describes the special responsibility of the stakeholders involved, who are "Food Business Operators" according to the "FBO" law. In German, this means: "Lebensmittelunternehmer" and "Lebensmittelunternehmen". This applies to every stakeholder who of the supply chain - from Farm to Fork". Logistic- and transport companies are part of the food chain and are therefore food entrepreneurs/food companies, or FBOs. Logistic- and transport companies are not only responsible for the transport, as is often wrongly assumed, but also for ensuring that the product reaches the recipient undamaged and free of contamination. Logistic- and or transport companies are also responsible for the cleaning result if the cleaning is carried out by a third party (service provider). A cleaning document, no matter what is listed in it, does not release you from responsibility.

The ENFIT Guideline covers many topics, such as food fraud, labeling of transport containers, different container types, attachments and accessories, compressed air supply and quality, cleaning and disinfection, food defense, traceability, validation and verification of cleaning processes and cleaning programs, and provide a general overview of all stages of the supply chain.
